George Turbyfill Sedona REALTOR®
George grew up in a close-knit, entrepreneurial family, in Gainesville, Florida. He learned the value of hard work and customer service working at his father’s family-run automotive service businesses as a teenager during his high school years. When he entered college, his mother’s real estate career as a top producing agent was in full swing, and she hired him to help with everything from staging homes, to crafting marketing materials, assisting (and driving) her with buyer tours, and working to help sellers coordinate home repairs and improvements.
In December 2019, George graduated from the University of Florida with two degrees, in Geology and Geography, and moved to Denver, Colorado to begin his professional career in Engineering Consulting right as the COVID pandemic hit. Like many others, COVID shifted careers and life perspectives, leading George to Sedona in 2021, where his parents had moved, and a career shift to real estate remodeling and property management.
Always up for a challenge, George worked alongside his sister, Victoria, and his brother-in-law Cameron Wylde, as they spent 9 months together in a new family business - completely renovating a house in Sedona and preparing it for short-term rental. Countless hours of permit drafting, demolition, flooring installation, building cabinetry, painting, and decorating led to the launch of a highly successful short-term rental, with annual revenues of nearly $200,000. George has successfully managed this property for the past three years.
Today you’ll find George applying his upbringing in the world of real estate, with his passion for helping people, and his ethic for hard work as a real estate agent for RE/MAX Sedona. He is thrilled at the opportunity to work with his family, including his sister, Victoria, his brother-in-law, Cameron, and his mother, Nancy, as they work to help buyers and sellers in Sedona with every aspect of their real estate needs.
